SPIRITUAL COMMITMENT** • Royal Oaks is committed to focusing on the core tenets of the Christian faith that have been historically affirmed across a broad range of evangelical traditions, including Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Assemblies of God, and many others. Matters of denominational doctrine and practice are left to the family and their local church. Because our families come from diverse church backgrounds, we intentionally avoid teaching denominational distinctives or matters on which sincere Christians may disagree. Instead, we focus on the shared foundations of the faith—recognizing Jesus Christ as the Creator of all things, expressing gratitude through prayer, cultivating Christlike character, and encouraging faithful stewardship of His creation. Our desire is to provide a distinctly Christian environment that strengthens the biblical values taught in the home and the local church while remaining welcoming to families from a variety of Christian traditions. ✦ ✦ ✦ **2. FOUNDATIONS OF OUR FAITH** • **The Bible:** We believe that the Bible is the inspired, trustworthy, and authoritative Word of God and serves as the foundation for our faith and practice. • **God:** We believe in one eternal God, existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. • **Jesus Christ:** We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. Through Him all things were created. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return again. • **Salvation:** We believe that salvation is the gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone and not earned by human works. ✦ ✦ ✦ **3. GENDER AND MARRIAGE** • Following the teachings of Holy Scripture, we believe that God intentionally created humanity as male and female. We believe that these two sexes are part of God’s good design and are to be received with gratitude and respect. We further believe that marriage is a sacred covenant established by God between one man and one woman and is intended to reflect His design for the family and society. As a Christian homeschool co-op, our teachings, programs, and activities are conducted in a manner consistent with these biblical convictions while treating every person with dignity, kindness, and respect as one created in the image of God. ✦ ✦ ✦ **4. CODE OF CONDUCT** • At Royal Oaks, we strive to cultivate a Christ-centered, welcoming, and respectful environment where children and adults can learn, serve, and grow together. All members, guests, and visitors are expected to uphold the following principles: • **Love God and Love Others** — Demonstrate kindness, humility, honesty, patience, and respect in all interactions. • **Honor Biblical Values** — Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the historic Christian faith and the mission of Royal Oaks. • **Respect Authority** — Follow the instructions of Royal Oaks leaders, volunteers, and activity coordinators, helping to maintain a safe and orderly environment. • **Practice Good Stewardship** — Care for the land, animals, equipment, buildings, and all property entrusted to our community. • **Foster Community** — Encourage one another, resolve disagreements respectfully, and avoid gossip, bullying, harassment, or disruptive behavior. • **Use Appropriate Language and Behavior** — Speak and act in ways that are uplifting, respectful, and appropriate for a family-friendly Christian environment. • **Prioritize Safety** — Follow all safety guidelines, supervise your children as required, and immediately report hazards, injuries, or emergencies. • **Respect Property** — Leave facilities and activity areas clean, dispose of trash properly, and return borrowed items after use. Royal Oaks reserves the right to ask any visitor to leave the property or to suspend or terminate a family’s participation if their conduct is inconsistent with this Code of Conduct, the Participation Agreement, or the mission and values of Royal Oaks. ✦ ✦ ✦ **PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT** • By visiting Royal Oaks or participating in any of our programs, classes, events, or activities, you acknowledge and agree to the following: • You have read and agree to abide by the values, policies, and expectations outlined on this website, including our Statement of Faith (**1.
