Royal Oaks is a Forest School–inspired homeschool co-op serving families throughout the greater Charlotte area. Nestled on 31 acres of peaceful woods, fields, and open spaces in York County, South Carolina, we believe some of life’s best lessons are learned with muddy boots, big smiles, and joyful hearts.
Our mission is to create a place where children can explore, discover, build, create, and grow through meaningful hands-on experiences in nature. Whether tending a garden, learning a new skill, observing wildlife, crafting with natural materials, or simply enjoying time outdoors with friends, every day offers opportunities to develop confidence, creativity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
Rooted in Christian values, Royal Oaks seeks to nurture the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—while cultivating a deep appreciation for God’s creation and the gifts He has given each child. We invite families to slow down, connect with nature, build lasting friendships, and experience the joy of learning together.

- We contact you by phone to discuss availability and costs, answer your questions, and, if you want, schedule a preliminary visit at the farm.

Cost (investment)
Values are compatible with other regional co-ops and will be determined based on the number of children and groups they desire to participate on. Please contact us at 732-221-1202 for more information.
Important
We reserve the right to deny service. We retain the right to remove any person who behaves disruptively, shows disrespect, or causes any other form of disturbance at our discretion, without further elaboration.
Rules
We do not permit smoking, the consumption of alcoholic beverages, or the use of profane, vulgar, or disrespectful language and clothing on the farm.

- To help kids and adults to spend more time in nature
- To help kids and adults learn homestead and survival skills
- To promote agro-ecological and permaculture practices
- To connect communities around the greater Charlotte area (Charlotte, Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Concord, Gastonia, York, Clover, Mt. Holly, Monroe, Pineville, Hunsterville, Tega Cay, Lake Wylie, Belmont, Concord, and so on)
