Royal Oaks is a community-supported family farm committed to organic practices and permaculture principles with the goal of providing:
(A) FREE in-person agroecological courses for adults and children;
(B) FREE nature walks and events; and
(C) Donation of produce to the community.

We are a privately owned farm. However, we love to serve!

Who?
Everyone* is welcome at our events, subject to age restrictions and registration vacancy for specific activities. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, political views, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnicity, or physical and neural abilities. While our farm is not yet fully accessible for individuals with disabilities, we are committed to making improvements as funding becomes available.
* Important
We reserve the right to deny entry to any individual without explanation. Additionally, we retain the right to remove any person who behaves disruptively, shows disrespect, or causes any other form of disturbance at our discretion, without further elaboration.
Rules
We do not permit smoking, the consumption of alcoholic beverages, or the use of profane, vulgar, or disrespectful language and clothing on the farm.
Why do we do what we do?
Our goals are:
- To promote agroecological practices
- To help kids and adults to spend more time in nature
- To help kids and adults learn homestead abilities
- To get communities around the greater Charlotte area (Charlotte, Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Concord, Gastonia, York, Clover, Mt. Holly, Monroe, and so on) to get excited with ecology and ecological farming
